Youngs Mountain Trail at 10am

Join us for a morning and afternoon of exploring and supporting the beautiful Lake Lure area.

We will begin with a hike up Youngs Mountain Trail and then enjoy lunch in Chimney Rock Village.... an area that deserves all of our love and support.

• 4.5 miles

• 1164 feet of elevation gain

• out and back trail

Parking Info:

• The trailhead is accessed through a private gated community. You will need to reserve a parking spot with Conserving Carolina to get the gate code beforehand. For more information and to make a reservation, please visit https://conservingcarolina.org/youngs-mountain/ There is no charge for the permit. Do this as soon as you sign up, as passes run out.
