Welcome to the Warm Heart of Africa
April 19th, 2027
Arrive at Blantyre’s Chileka International Airport where you will be greeted by your trip host, Amy and your local guide, Inno. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Zomba; the former capital of British Central Africa and Nyasaland.
Located atop the plateau, our first night in Malawi will be spent above the clouds at the Ku Chawe Inn. The Inn offers us a chance to relax and soak in the wonders of this unique destination. Surrounded by a gorgeous landscape and terraced gardens, your room will have panoramic views from Lake Chilwa and the Shire Highlands to Mount Mulanje and beyond.
After settling in, you can choose to relax by the pool or venture out with the mountain guide for a 1-hour hike to nearby waterfall.

As of January 2026, travelers from the USA must apply for a visa to enter Malawi. Assistance and support letter will be provided for travelers, but cost of visa is not included
